Admission is on a rolling basis. Early application is advised as space may be limited.

 

12-16 U.S. credits (3-4 courses) per semester. Courses at Curtin University are typically 25 units each, and students must be enrolled into at least 100 units. Curtin University is accredited by the Australian Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency (TEQSA) and the Curtin Business School is accredited by The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) International.

TU students may receive Honors College credit for their study abroad experience.

TU tuition and fees. Additional costs include airfare, housing, meals, health insurance fee (includes TU and Australian insurance fees), personal expenses, and a study abroad fee.TU tuition remission can be applied.

The Towson University Study Abroad & Away Office reserves the right to make any necessary changes including adjustments in cost in the event that unforeseen circumstances arise.

Withdrawal Policies

Any notification of withdrawal must be submitted in writing to the Towson University Study Abroad & Away Office (notification via email is acceptable). Please review the full withdrawal policies on our website. Standard Towson University withdrawal/drop/add deadlines do not apply. No cancellation fees will be charged by TU for withdrawal from a TU program (non-faculty-led) or exchange. However, monies already paid to the host institution directly by the student at the time of withdrawal (e.g. housing, activity fees, insurance, etc.) or by TU on the student's behalf may be non-recoverable. You may be subject to cancellation fees by the host institution and/or provider.

Student must be a full-time undergraduate degree-seeking student at TU with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 and be at least 18 years old. Sophomore/Junior/Senior status.

IMPORTANT: We strongly encourage all study abroad/away participants to get vaccinated and boosted against COVID-19 prior to their experience. Participants will be subject to the entry requirements and COVID related regulations of the host destination and program provider/host institution. We recommend students consider purchasing travel insurance with cancel for any reason (CFAR) coverage. Students will be responsible for any COVID related expenses incurred during their experience abroad/away.
