ALL PARTICIPANTS WILL RECEIVE A $300 SCHOLARSHIP FUNDED BY THE COLLEGE OF LIBERAL ARTS!

Study the history of Venice and immerse yourself in the Italian language and culture with Towson University in January 2025. The program includes visits to major historical and artistic sites and features excursions to the Isle of Murano in the Venetian Lagoon and a weekend trip to Florence. No prior knowledge of Italian language is required.

Known as the Queen of the Adriatic, the city of Venice stretches across 117 small islands in the Venetian Lagoon along the Adriatic Sea. Venice was a major center of the arts from the 13th century until the 17th century and the printing capital of the world in the 15th and 16th centuries. The influences of these periods can still be seen today in the art, architecture, and culture of Venice.
