Earn 3 credits studying abroad in Cuba this Minimester with Towson University. Only 80 miles off the U.S. coast, Cuba is virtually unknown to most Americans, but as political barriers diminish it is emerging as an interesting potential partner economy. This study abroad program will allow participants to discover aspects of the Cuban economy through a variety of excursions and guest lectures.

Students will have the opportunity to explore the vibrant city of Havana and experience the Cuban culture through visits to an agricultural collective, a cigar factory, and an overnight trip to Vinales. This course offers the unique chance to study an economy far different from our own in a country only recently opened to U.S. travelers. Don't miss out!
